Staff Update - June 2026

With this financial year’s workshop series coming to a close, we also have a staff update for the Hotspots Fire Project.
We welcome Steve McKinnon from the NSW RFS, an experienced planning and environmental services coordinator on the South Coast, who has recently taken on the role of Southern Hotspots Facilitator. Belinda Kenny, the NCC Central Ecologist, has temporarily moved across to NCC’s Bushfire Program to fill a vacant role for the next few months. In her place, Ruby Adams has joined as the new Central Ecologist, and we are pleased to welcome her to the team.
Campbell Goff, the existing Project Officer, has recently wrapped up with NCC, and the team would like to thank him for his hard work in supporting the project and further developing it’s resources. In his place, we welcome Cassandra Harvey as the new Project Officer, who will continue to support the workshop delivery and materials.
Recruitment for the permanent NSW RFS Central Facilitator continues and we look forward to updating you on this in the next edition.
