Lachlan CMA

The Lachlan catchment features a broad geographic diversity including temperate forests, woodlands and grasslands in the east, and semi-arid woodlands, mallee and shrublands in the west. Agriculture is the catchments main industry, using more than 80% of the land. These include cereal production, cotton, dairying, piggeries, and irrigated fruit production. The Lachlan CMA has been replaced by the Central West, and Central Tablelands Local Land Services Find us here: centraltablelands.lls.nsw.gov.au/
