Fire Season Update January 2024
Large areas of eastern, central and northern NSW are expected to see increased risk of fire in summer 2024 as areas burnt in the 2019/20 fires are now able to support dangerous fires again. Learn more here.

Safe Havens - Large Forest Owls Project
The Nature Conservation Council’s newest component of its Large Forest Owls Project, the Safe Havens Project, funded by the NSW Environmental Trust, has held its first community workshop outlining recent data, nest box techniques, and impacts on local owl populations across the Richmond and Clarence Valleys.
